VISA FORMALITIES

A 15-day tourist visa is available on arrival at Phnom Penh’s Pochentong Airport. Alternatively visas may be obtained from the Cambodian embassy in Bangkok at 185 Ratchadamri Road, Tel: 0 2254 6630.

Office hours: 09.00 - 11.00 a.m. and 02.00 - 04.00 p.m. Requirements: valid passport, photocopy of passport, 1 photograph, Bt 560 fee*. Visas may be collected on the day following application.

Chinese visas can be applied for either through travel agencies or the Chinese embassy in Bangkok at 57 Ratchadapisek Road, Din Daeng, Tel: 0 2245 7036-7

Office hours: 09.00 - 12.00 a.m. Requirements: valid passport, 1 photograph, Bt 550 fee*. Visas may be collected three days after application.

Lao visas can be applied for either through travel agencies or the Laotian embassy in Bangkok at 502/1-3 Ramkamhaeng 39, Bang Kapi, Tel: 0 2539 6667-8

Office hours: 09.00 - 12.00 a.m. and 01.00 - 04.00 p.m. Requirements: valid passport, photocopy of passport, 3 photographs, Bt 300 fee*. Visas may be collected on the day following application.

Visas for Myanmar can be applied for either through travel agencies or the embassy of Myanmar in Bangkok at 132 North Sathon Road, Tel: 0 2233 2237, 0 2234 4698.

Office hours: 08.30 - 12.00 a.m. and 02.00 - 04.00 p.m. Requirements: valid passport, photocopy of passport, 3 photographs, Bt 250 fee*. Visas may be collected on the day following application.

Visitors to Thailand are allowed 30-day stays on arrival without a visa. Alternatively, 60-day tourist visas are issued by embassies and consulates abroad. Requirements: valid passport, 1 photograph, fee in local currency.

Visas can be applied for at the Vietnamese embassy in Bangkok at 83/1 Wireless Road, Tel: 0 2251 7202-3
